Manama : The High Criminal Court has sentenced a Malaysian man behind the bars for using a forged credit card.

The 27-year-old started buying luxury watches with the fake credit card as soon as he reached Bahrain. He reportedly purchased a Mont Blank watch worth BD1,200. He was arrested in possession of 19 credit cards.

“I received the credit cards from someone in my hometown. He requested me to buy valuables. He said that he would give me 10 per cent of their total value,” the defendant told prosecutors. He was held guilty on grounds of fraud.
