Pyongyang: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reportedly lauded the extreme ‘loyalty’ of soldiers willing to sacrifice their lives, a move seen by international analysts as preparation for a more direct role in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

By glorifying such acts of ‘suicide-level’ commitment, Kim is signaling to both his military and the global community that North Korea is prepared to sustain high casualty rates to fulfill its strategic alliance with Moscow.

This development follows consistent reports of North Korean ammunition and personnel being integrated into Russian military operations. Experts suggest that Kim’s praise for extreme self-sacrifice is a tactical move to bolster morale as North Korean troops face the realities of modern drone warfare and high-intensity combat on foreign soil.

As Pyongyang continues to supply Russia with critical weaponry, the transition from material support to ‘human-wave’ military participation marks a dangerous new chapter in the internationalization of the war in Ukraine.
