The Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union (JJAU) has appointed Ahmed Janahi, Deputy Chairman of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation, as Chairman of the Ethics Commission and Dr. Ahmed Al Aradi as Chairman of the Medical Commission.

The appointments were announced during the General Assembly of the JJAU chaired by Redha Ibrahim Monfaredi, President of Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation, who was elected as the First Vice President of the Jiu-jitsu Asian Union.

The selection of Ahmed Janahi and Dr. Ahmed Al Aradi for their respective positions reflects their extensive expertise in jiu-jitsu, which has significantly contributed to the sport’s development at both national and continental levels.

Monfaredi emphasised that these appointments underscore the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the continental and international sporting landscape, as well as its wealth of qualified national professionals capable of assuming leadership and organisational roles in regional and international sports federations.
