Iraqi community backs Bahrain, slams hostile statements, threats

Manama : The Iraqi expatriate community yesterday voiced support to Bahrain, backing all measures it has taken to protect its security and national unity. It also condemned the statements and threats made by some Iraqi figures against the Kingdom.

The community issued a statement in which it rejected such hostile statements. They affirmed unwavering support to the Wise Leadership and the people of Bahrain, backing all measures to confront threats.

“These statements and threats made by Iraqi figures are part of regional events”, the community said, voicing unflinching solidarity with the people of Bahrain.
