HH Shaikh Khalid appoints new board for Bahrain Triathlon Association

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, has issued Edict No. 4 of 2025, appointing the Board of Directors for the Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA).

The edict formalizes the board’s composition for the 2024–2028 term, naming Yousif Abdullah Yousif Akbar Ali Redha as President. The board members include Abbas Moosa Buhassan, Sahar Abdulkarim Abbas Qanati, Suad Emad Abdulrahman Al Moayyed, Eman Ebrahim Ali Ahmed Mubarak Al Hayki, Sarah Jassim Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah, and Abdulhameed Ali Mohammed Jumaa Al Balooshi.

The new board is expected to oversee the promotion and development of triathlon in Bahrain, furthering the kingdom’s presence in the global sporting arena.
