Four men arrested for selling subsidised oil derivatives without a licence

Four men have been arrested in separate cases for trading in oil derivatives without a licence, the Ministry of Interior has announced. The ministry said that the Capital Governorate Police director-general reported the arrests.

The director-general noted that an investigation into received information led to identifying and arresting two suspects in the first case for their plan to sell diesel at a farm in Sitra. Another two individuals were then arrested while selling diesel from their trucks. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
