Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and BACA President, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa on May 18, met the UNESCO Director-General, Irina Bokova, currently visiting Bahrain. Minister welcomed Irina Bokova, praising her continuous efforts since taking office, and her drive to improve the work of the Organisation and enhance its role in preserving heritage and culture.
