A selection of lucky Formula 1 super fans from the Kingdom were able to enjoy a series of video calls with a number of the sport’s star drivers.

As Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) was not able to welcome all F1 fans in Bahrain for the Kingdom’s F1 double-header, the F1 drivers took the time to meet some of their biggest supporters through live video calls.

Among those who took part were Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen and Alexander Albon, Renault’s Daniel Ricciardo and Esteban Ocon, Alfa Romeo’s Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi, and AlphaTauri’s Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly.

They interacted with delighted fans online and answered questions posed to them.

BIC thanked the F1 drivers who participated in the video calls for giving their local supporters another memorable occasion.
