Bahrain has adopted a sense of pioneering national initiative and programs aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions causing global warming to 30% by 2035 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.

This was emphasised by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, as he participated in the high-level session held on the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nation Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC), in Baku.
