Dubai has launched a new initiative to combine real estate and residency services into a single integrated system, aiming to simplify processes and enhance investor confidence.
The agreement was signed between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai and the Dubai Land Department to streamline services for residents, investors and property owners.
Under the new system, key services including Golden Residency, Retiree Residency and Property Residency will be handled through one platform, reducing the need to deal with multiple authorities. Officials said this will cut waiting times, improve coordination and enable faster decision-making.
The move also supports better data sharing between both entities, creating a smoother and more efficient experience for users. Authorities expect the initiative to strengthen trust in Dubai’s property market and attract more investors by linking residency options directly to property ownership.
The project aligns with Dubai’s broader development plans to enhance digital government services and support economic growth, while reinforcing its position as a global hub for living, business and investment.
