Decree establishes ‘Excellent Rank’ for undersecretaries and equivalent ranks

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Royal Decree (104) of 2024 to establish the ‘Excellent Rank’ for undersecretaries and equivalent ranks. The decree was issued based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and the approval of the Cabinet. Under Article I, a new professional category named the ‘Excellent Rank’ is hereby established.

This grade shall be granted to undersecretaries and equivalent ranks through a royal decree. Under Article II, the Prime Minister and ministers, each within their respective jurisdiction, shall implement the provisions of this decree, which shall take effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
