Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, members of the Shura and Representatives Councils and senior officials, in the presence of former Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani.

HRH Premier said Bahrain, like many other countries in the region, had taken exceptional decisions to handle the economic challenges and overcome their pitfalls.

He added the fast-paced developments have reduced available alternatives and pushed for the exceptional decisions.

He thanked the legislative branch for its keenness on the national interest, stressing the government’s interest in consolidating cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to serve the nation.

The Prime Minister underscored the need for concerted efforts to overcome the current challenges, pointing out that the national interest will remain the main goal.
