The Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed two bomb-laden UAVs launched systematically and deliberately by the terrorist Houthi militia towards civilians and civilian areas in Khamis Mushait and Jazan.

"These are the 7th and 8th bomb-laden UAVs that have been intercepted and destroyed during the past 24 hours," Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al Malki said on Saturday.

Such acts of aggression amount to war crimes, he added.

The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition will continue to implement all necessary operational procedures to protect civilians and civilian areas in accordance with the International Humanitarian Law, Al Malki said.
