The Isa Cultural Centre has announced that festivities are held across the kingdom during the month of December, as the citizens from various social groups celebrate the milestone achievements of the kingdom’s comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Its statement highlights the kingdom’s celebration of its National Days on December 16 and 17, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne.

The nation-wide festivities provide an opportunity to draw inspiration from the kingdom’s national history and heritage laden with the values of loyalty, dedication and tolerance, under the leadership of HM the King, whose pioneering vision has enabled Bahrain to attain unprecedented progress at all levels, the Centre said.

During the same month, the kingdom also marks the Commemoration Day and the Bahrain Police Day, as a token of gratitude to the fallen heroes who had sacrificed their lives while valiantly defending the kingdom’s security, achievements and progress march.

The Centre indicated that the celebration of the national days contributes to deepening loyalty to the nation and pride in the national identity, as well as to consolidating belonging to the homeland.
