Cancer Care Group (CCG), affiliated to Bahrain Cancer Society (BCS) organised a medical check up and Awareness programme at the Asian School for the staff, Senior Section students of Classes 8 , 9, & 10 and their parents. Over 700 people were benifited the programme. The program was held at the Asian School Auditorium yesterday from 8am to 1pm. Dr. Raja Al Yusuf , Deputy Chief of Medical Staff, Salmaniya Medical Complex, was the chief guest and Bahrain Cancer Society Secretary General Ahmed Ali was guest of honour. Rayed Guloom Ahmed Abbas (Sponsor of Asian School), Bhagvan Asarpota (Chairman , Indian Community Relief Fund), Varghese Karakkal (President , Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam), Vineet Kumar (CEO, New India Assurance Company), Moosa Ahmed and Sakeer Hussian (Shifa Aljazeera Medical Center representatives) were present. Dr. P.V. Cheriyan, President of CCG & Chief Medical Officer of Accident & Emergency was the moderator and lead the discussions. Molly Mammen, Principal, The Asian School welcomed the audience and Cancer Care Group General Secretary K.T.Salim proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was supported by Shifa Al Jazeera Medical Center.
