The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication (MTT) Land Transport Affairs has announced the extension of public bus route #12 to reach the newly opened Dragon City in Diyar Al Muharraq.

Undersecretary of Land Transport and Post Affairs Mariam Ahmed Jumaan stated that effective 24 January 2016, bus operator Bahrain Public Transport Company (BPTC) has extended bus route No. 12 to Dragon City in Diyar Al Muharraq.

She added that this modification to the route comes as a result of the Ministry’s continuous review of the new public transport system. Regular study of the bus routes is conducted by MTT to ensure that the system provides users with the best possible public transport solutions, taking into account passenger demand and current and future market developments.

BPTC provides updated information on changes to routes and new schedules on the company's website bahrainbus.bh.
