British Ambassador Simon Martin invited Hindu ladies who wished to perform a ritual to the British Embassy ground where they could do so around an ancient Banyan tree. Shri Krishna Hindu Temple Committee, arranged the trip to the Embassy for ladies to perform the ritual that was in practice for decades until the late Eighties.
