A university student's life took a bizarre turn after he was caught stealing over BD 24,000 from his two ailing aunts and subsequently sentenced to a six-month jail term. The 20-year-old, instead of hitting the books, chose to betray his family's trust, leaving his vulnerable relatives struggling to make ends meet.

His actions have left a serious blemish on his character, revealing him as a thief who exploited his own family. The student used a deceptive method to transfer the money through the BENEFIT app, leaving his relatives without their savings.
