A delegation from the Bahrain Basketball Association (BBA), led by Alaa Mudara, visited Bahrain Polytechnic to explore opportunities for developing basketball within the academic campus. They met with Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, to discuss potential collaborations.

The visit aligns with BBA’s strategy to enhance engagement with educational institutions, fostering stronger connections between the association and academic communities.

Bahrain Polytechnic shared its plans to expand its sports infrastructure, including the construction of indoor and outdoor basketball courts, 3x3 basketball courts, and multi-purpose halls at the Isa Town campus.

The BBA delegation also toured proposed locations for these new facilities, which are set to boost community and student participation in the sport.
