Manama : A total of 151,000 families have so far registered to receive meat subsidy payouts. Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan released the update statistics in response to the query of MP Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Sha'er.

He said that all eligible recipients desiring to benefit from meat subsidy payouts would also be included in the programme. He pointed out that Bahrain launched various social programmes that benefit eligible categories and meet basics needs in the country.
