Sports Cities and Facilities Co. announced a groundbreaking infrastructure initiative. Designed by the renowned global architectural firm Populous, this landmark project aims to establish the Kingdom’s premier destination for sports and leisure activities.

This initiative is set to enhance Bahrain’s status as a hub for sports and health-related activities, significantly contributing to the region's sports tourism infrastructure.

At the heart of the project is The Park Community Zone, an expansive area that will integrate dining, retail, and leisure sports experiences for visitors.

The master plan also includes a state-of-the-art Sports Medicine Center, dedicated to providing athletes with advanced medical services, including sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and wellness treatments tailored for optimal performance. Additional facilities will comprise a specialized hotel for athletes, comprehensive training grounds, and environments designed for both sports professionals and enthusiasts.

Furthermore, the development will feature a large mixed-use retail and hospitality hub, incorporating several hotels and curated retail spaces. This will further enhance Bahrain’s profile as a premier sports and leisure destination, while offering convenient access for visitors attending nearby events and exhibitions.

As part of its involvement in Gateway Gulf, Sports Cities and Facilities Co. is actively engaging with investors, operators, and partners to explore opportunities within this transformative development, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
