Bahrain participates in Paris Air Show

In line with the directives of HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative, Chairman of Bahrain International Air Show (BIAS)’s High Organising Committee, the Minister of Transportation and Communications, Deputy Chairman of BIAS High Organising Committee, Kamal Ahmed, participated in the opening of the International Paris Air Show. Bahrain’s participation is aimed at promoting communication between the Kingdom and the participating aviation companies to accentuate Bahrain as a hub attractive to businesses in the aviation sector in the Middle East.

The minister highlighted the significance of Bahrain’s participation in encouraging the largest number of international aviation companies to take part in the upcoming Bahrain International Air Show, where businessmen, economic and industrial companies meet on November 18- 20, 2020, at the Sakhir Airbase under the royal patronage. He said Paris Air Show is the largest air show in the world, a unique forum for leading civil and military aircraft manufacturers, making it an ideal platform for the promotion of Bahrain International Air Show 2020.

On the sidelines of Paris Air Show, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications met the UAE’s Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, a number of telecommunication ministers and representatives from international companies participating in the international event within the framework of boosting co-operation for the progress of the aviation sector in the region.
