Bahrain discusses cargo expansion plans with UPS

Manama : Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Kamal bin Ahmed received a delegation representing the United Parcel Service (UPS), in the presence of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, and representatives from Bahrain Economic Board (EDB) and BAC.

They discussed UPS’s future plans in Bahrain, including the development of its cargo services at the Bahrain International Airport (BIA), and its aim to increase the volume of shipments to and from the country.

The Minister stressed the importance of cooperating with multinational logistics providers to help strengthen Bahrain’s strategic position as a leader in efficient and reliable logistic services in the GCC and wider Middle East.
