Bahrain Court overturned acquittal of security man

Manama : The High Criminal Appeals Court has overturned the acquittal of a security man accused of causing an injury to a boy.

The defendant was working in a water park and was operating a game called “Body Slide,” which is a slide pipe. The game is designed to be used by only one individual at a time, but the victim entered the pipe and slid, and another man followed him.

Moments later the man exited the pipe, but the child fell down on his hand and was taken to hospital. The defendant was accused of negligence that led to the injury of the boy. He was fined BD50.
