Bahrain Bourse board approves 2015 results

Manama: The board of directors of Bahrain Bourse (BHB) held its first meeting for 2016 on Monday chaired by Yusuf Abdulla Humood, Chairman of the Bourse.

During the meeting, the board approved financial results for the year ended December 31, 2015 as well as estimated budget for the year 2016. BHB’s Corporate Governance Report for the year 2015 and Money Laundering policy and procedures were also approved.

Discussions also focused on the progress of BHB’s operational plan that is part of the Bourse’s strategic plan along with its evaluation criteria and the project for developing services provided by Clearing, Settlement, and Central Depository. The board also reviewed periodic report on BHB’s performance, other bourses and GCC stock markets.
