Attorney General Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain Meets UK Delegation to Strengthen Judicial Cooperation

Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainain, Bahrain’s Attorney General, held discussions with a delegation from the UK Public Prosecution Office to enhance judicial cooperation under the 2016 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the prosecution offices of both nations. Representatives from the British Embassy in Bahrain were also present at the meeting.

Dr. Al Buainain highlighted the constructive partnership between Bahrain and the UK in judicial affairs, underscoring the value of expertise exchange to strengthen prosecution capabilities.

The meetings focused on operational systems and legal frameworks in both offices, with discussions aimed at formulating a comprehensive training programme. Key areas of focus included combating cybercrime, financial crimes, and money laundering. These discussions will continue throughout the week, aiming to finalise a detailed plan for training and collaboration in investigating these critical issues.
