The court files say the cop in plain clothes tricked the DJ into selling drugs after managing to build a close relationship with him. “We had a great bond and I didn’t expect him to be working with police. He asked me for marijuana worth BD1,400 and I immediately agreed to deliver him,” the 30-year-old added.

Police officers raided the apartment after the undercover agent received drugs and handed over the money to the American man. The 30-year-old man was arrested along with another man who happened to be in the property under the influence of drugs. The DJ along and his friend were tried before the High Criminal Court.
