U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, H.E. Steven C. Bondy, emphasized the crucial role of the U.S. Government Exchange Alumni in strengthening educational partnerships and skill development in the Kingdom. Speaking at an iftar gathering hosted at the Intercontinental Bahrain, the Ambassador highlighted the growing interest among Bahraini youth in pursuing higher education in the United States, supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Education.
Ambassador Bondy also noted the historic people-to-people ties between the two nations, further reinforced through educational exchange programs. "We have sent five foreign language teachers to the U.S., which is a great opportunity to enhance cross-cultural learning," he stated.
The event brought together alumni who have benefited from U.S. exchange programs, celebrating their contributions to Bahrain’s educational landscape and the strengthening of bilateral relations.
