Bahrain is making progress in its economic development and diversification drives through the introduction of a number of initiatives that aim to attract and congregate investors across the Kingdom’s key sectors, said the Minister of Finance and National Economy yesterday.

This came as Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, attended Investcorp’s Investors Conference, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, at the Four Seasons Hotel, Bahrain. Shaikh Salman noted that holding effective business conferences create new opportunities to progress the Kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Shaikh Salman emphasised that HRH the Crown Prince’s patronage of the conference is testament to HRH’s support to enhancing the Kingdom’s business environment and identifying and realising market opportunities that further accelerate Bahrain’s development.

Separately, In line with the directives of HRH the Crown Prince during the 2019 Government Forum, Shaikh Salman yesterday met with representatives of the relevant authorities concerned with the Liquidity Fund. The fund, which will amount to BD100 million, aims to restructure private sector companies’ financial obligations within the Kingdom.
