A good omen for quarter-final? Uruguay’s Suarez wins card game

If Luis Suarez performs in the quarter-final as well as he did at cards on Wednesday night, Uruguay will be in with a more than decent shout of reaching the World Cup semi-finals. A mouthwatering clash awaits on Friday in Nizhny Novgorod, where the South
Americans take on France in the first of the last-eight clashes. In some camps nerves may threaten to temper the mood, but Suarez and Co ensured that certainly wasn’t the case as Uruguay’s stars enjoyed some downtime with a game of cards. The Barcelona striker uploaded a video of him and his team-mates battling out a game
of Truco, a trick-taking game popular in South America.
