Twenty-three men, accused of rioting and injuring a police officer, have been sentenced to 10 years in prison each.

The defendants had illegally gathered and attacked police officers in the village of Bani Jamra on February 2 last year.

According to court files, 50 thugs were involved in the incident, but the investigations could identify only 23.
