A total of 20,340 Bahraini citizens have so far been employed in 5,806 private companies under the National Employment Programme second edition.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Development announced that from 17 to 23 October, 502 job-seekers were employed in 330 companies and institutions in the private sector, in addition to 370 citizens undergoing various training programmes.
The total number of those trained so far has reached 9,057.
The programme is eyeing 25,000 job opportunities and 10,000 training opportunities for Bahrainis this year.
