The High Criminal Court has sentenced a Bahraini man to 15 years behind bars after he was caught selling four kilograms of hashish during a sting operation. The defendant was peddling drugs across Bahrain, and his unlawful activity was reported to the Anti-narcotic Department at the Ministry of Interior. An officer in plainclothes contacted him and requested the aforementioned quantity and offered him to buy it for BD8,000. The pair met in Malkiya on May 11, 2015, and the police pounced on the Bahraini man.
