Around 100 Bahrainis stuck in Syria will soon return home after Bahrain’s diplomats secured safe passage for them via Jordan, according to MP Jalal Kadhem Al Mahfoodh. The operation comes through joint efforts between Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its embassies in Damascus and Amman.

Arrangements have been made to ensure the Bahrainis’ safe journey back, with officials working closely to coordinate their return.

Bahraini diplomats in Syria reached out to dozens of citizens and gathered them with their families in a secure area away from conflict zones, ready for transfer to Jordan.
