VKL Group and Al Bilad Real Estate Company signed an agreement for the establishment of a luxury hotel in Seef district here yesterday.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Property Exhibition (BIPEX), VKL Group Chairman Dr. Varghese Kurian signed an agreement with Al Bilad Real Estate Company Investment Director Ziad Abdul Latif Janahi to establish a 28-storey hotel.

It will be built on 2,500sqm and on a total construction area of 20,000sqm. The hotel will be constructed in Water Garden City, a real estate project consisting of a marina, beach, gardens, with waterfront fine dining restaurants, hotels and some offices.

“The location of the hotel was chosen because of the outstanding and strategic location in the heart of Seef district. Proximity to the largest mall in the Kingdom was also a factor. The hotel will be able to meet the needs of the increasing tourism activities in Bahrain, especially family tourism,” Al Bilad Real Estate company said in a statement.

Dr. Kurian said that he was confident that the project would be one of VKL Group’s best projects. Janahi also expressed his pleasure on signing the agreement.
