The US Embassy in Bahrain says it is closely watching regional tensions and is reminding American citizens to keep a close eye on the latest Security Alerts before making travel plans.

Possible disruptions: Embassy officials warn that airspace could close without notice and flights may be delayed or canceled. Travelers should factor these risks into their itineraries.

Embassy operations unchanged: Staffing levels and consular services in Manama remain normal for now.

Have a personal safety plan: The embassy urges all US citizens—whether living in Bahrain or just passing through—to think ahead about emergencies. “Crises can happen unexpectedly,” the statement notes, so planning in advance helps you know what to do if a situation escalates.

For up‑to‑date guidance, Americans are encouraged to monitor the embassy’s website and official social‑media channels.
