Unexpected weather in Bahrain today

Manama : The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications forecast an unsettled weather today with a chance of scattered rain that may become thundery later in the day

Northwesterly winds range from 12 to 17 knots reaching 20 to 25 knots at times during the day with gusts may reach 35 knots later.

The department warned of thundery showers and very strong gusts.

Maximum temperature is 34 degrees Celsius and minimum is 26 degrees Celsius, while maximum relative humidity will be 80% and minimum is 35%.

Sea waves will rise from 1 foot to 3 feet inshore, and from 3 to 6 feet offshore, and may may rise up to 8 feet during gusts.
