Washington: US President Trump’s ‘Board of Peace,’ created under his Gaza peace plan to oversee governance and reconstruction, is set to hold its first meeting in Washington on February 19, Axios reports. The summit, also a Gaza fundraising event, is tentative.

Scheduled a day after Netanyahu meets Trump, the session could mark his first engagement with Arab and Muslim leaders since the Israel‑Gaza conflict began. Critics say the board risks acting like a colonial authority and sidelining established international institutions.
