Washington DC: Trump’s media company announced plans on Thursday to sell high-speed, real-time access to the US president’s market-moving social media posts. The commercial move will effectively monetize his activity on Truth Social, where he regularly makes major global announcements.

The new "Truth API" service is scheduled to launch on August 1, 2026. It is designed to benefit high-frequency traders and financial news organizations that rely on split-second margins to react to breaking geopolitical and economic news.

Trump Media's leadership stated that the tool will help financial firms close the gap of relying on slow, manual monitoring. Because markets already swing on the president's posts, automated access offers a massive competitive edge to subscribers.

However, the decision to sell premium, automated feeds of presidential statements has sparked immediate ethical criticism. Opponents argue the venture represents a highly controversial effort to monetize the power of the US presidency directly.
