The Ministry of Health announces death of 36-year-old expatriate male

The Ministry of Health has today announced the death of a 36-year-old expatriate male, a registered active case of Coronavirus (COVID-19) suffering from underlying and chronic health problems.

The deceased male had been placed in isolation and received extensive 24-hour treatment from a specialised medical team.

The Ministry highlighted that, excluding one case, all other active COVID-19 cases remain stable and all patients continue to receive treatment from the Kingdom\'s highly trained medical professionals following guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO).

The Ministry of Health expresses its heartfelt condolences to the individual’s family at this difficult time.
