The Beauty Bloopers

There was a time when I owned more shades of lip liners than actual lipsticks, because for me, the perfect outline of the mouth was the most important part of my beauty regime, However, after wearing it so dark in a few outings, I was told by colleagues that it should complement the lipstick and not overshadow it, as I wore my lip liner darker than my lipstick- Audrey O.

Sure it’s exciting for women to play with their hair and try out colour streaks in a funky variation, be it pink, blue, purple and even orange. But, I’ve learnt that it needs to be as temporary as possible because this kind of look only works for parties and trendy gatherings, not for formal meetings or simple shopping sprees with the family- Ashta L.

I was quite taken aback when I had to hear it from my fiancé that I needed to tone down on the thick eyeliner fixations under the eyes. I guess he was right because having a top layer was good enough- S.J.
