The Beauty Bloopers: Scaly skin ruins the night out!

In my hurry to look my best in a bold dress that showed off some skin, I neglected the need to keep the skin looking smooth by putting moisturizer. Only when I reached my party venue, did I realize how scaly my skin was, especially around the knees and elbows. Note to self- always keep a small moisturizer tube in the bag, because scaly skin ruins the night out! - Shwetha K.

I have officially started a campaign against lip glosses that are so sticky because they tend to gather crumbs after eating your dinner. After a horrific experience, I’ve decided that lip gloss tends to be more stickier than lipsticks and a person can easily go without them simply by applying their favourite lipstick shade with a dash of vaseline -H.A.

I’m amazed at how mascara remains to be one of the hottest items in the market. Every brand is able to bring out a new tube every now and then, but for me, it translates into the biggest make-up disaster. Whenever I have applied the black product, it clumps around the lashes and even gets rubbed off under the eyes. Even when I opted for a waterproof version, it began to run after a while, ruining the smokey eyes look for me. – Kelly F.
