The Beauty Bloopers: I waxed my arm and ended up with rashes!

Whenever I leave my house, I always find my hair in a wavy and frizzy situation especially when my hair is wet. Then if finally dawned on me to try out those curling irons that all my friends have. So, I decided to buy a curling iron in the supermarket the next day. When I tried it, not only did it whiff a burning smoky smell around my scalp but guess what? It also took the rest of the strand of hair with it. Never again will I go anywhere near a curling iron. -Tori M.

I’m not really hairy in the first place, but occasionally I do take trips to the salon for leg waxing. However, the last time I took that trip, one of the beauticians in the salon recommended that I should wax my whole arm. She said I would see amazing results that would make anyone want to rub their face against my arm. So I tried it but the very next day I ended up with rashes all over my upper arm. I was passing by the make-up aisle that no one really bothers to check out and I found a perfect shade of pink lipstick that suits my skin tone. It was for a cheap price too! But after a while of using the lipstick, my friends and family started to notice that my natural lip looked darker.Then I confronted the fact that cheap lipsticks just don’t work, not to mention the fact that it makes your lips feel a slightly hot for no reason.
