THE BEAUTY BLOOPERS: ‘MY KINKY HAIR LOOKED LIKE DRIED CURLS’

For a New Year’s party, I decided to go all out with this sexy black dress and bright red lipstick. I figured it would be an interesting welcome to the New Year that people don’t usually see of me wearing red lipstick. So I tried out this bright red lip liner that I had but never used and I painted my lips with red gloss. Throughout the night, with all the food and drinks, I neglected to reapply my gloss so all night I just looked like such an awkward looking pale girl with vampiric red lines over the lips that nobody wanted to approach me. - Sara M.

The worst thing you could do is forget to apply heat protecting hair product for your hair halfway after attempting to curl your hair, then only realizing after you applied the product that it isn’t suitable for your hair. I have no idea what got into me but I decided to go through my old clothes in my closet and I found these old low waist jeans that I haven’t worn in forever. I felt excited because I knew it would fit well with these new converse shoes that I had. So I went to university that day thinking hey, everyone is going to love this.
