Thai village bomb blast flayed by Kingdom

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the bomb blast that targeted a checkpoint in Khokpho village in the southern Thai province of Pattani, yesterday.

Several people were killed in the incident, which also left some people injured.

The Foreign Ministry also offered condolences to Thailand and the families of the victims.

In a statement, the Ministry reaffirmed Bahrain’s support to Thailand’s efforts in consolidating security and stability across its territories, in countering terrorism and in combating violence and extremism in order to achieve the safety of the citizens and residents.
