Australia survived a huge scare in a last-over thriller against Afghanistan as Aaron Finch's home team won by four runs to keep their thin semifinal hopes alive at the ICC T20 World Cup.

Australia have seven points after five matches, but they will be knocked out of the tournament if England beat Sri Lanka tomorrow.
