RIYADH: During a high-level meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met to address the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East. The primary focus of their dialogue was the coordination of efforts to de-escalate regional tensions and restore long-term stability.
Central to this discussion was a joint and firm condemnation of "continued flagrant Iranian attacks" directed at Saudi Arabia and several other Arab nations, which both officials characterized as a significant threat to regional peace.
In addition to security concerns, the two ministers conducted a comprehensive review of the fraternal bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt. They explored strategic avenues to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, aiming to bolster the diplomatic and economic ties that define the partnership between the two countries.
The meeting, which included high-ranking officials such as Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan and Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to maintaining a unified front against external aggression while pursuing diplomatic solutions to stabilize the region.
