Kyiv: A Russian missile strike damaged a family home in Ukraine, killing at least ten people, local officials reported. The missile struck a residential structure, forcing it to collapse and trapping numerous individuals beneath the wreckage.

Emergency rescue personnel rushed to the scene and began searching for survivors among the wreckage with heavy machinery and search dogs. Authorities said the operation is expected to last several hours, and that the death toll could rise when additional fatalities are found.

Officials condemned the strike as yet another lethal hit on a populated area during Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The tragedy occurred as Russian forces continued to unleash missile and drone attacks throughout the country, despite repeated international pleas to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Investigations into the strike are underway, and Ukrainian authorities are still assessing the full extent of the damage and casualties.
