Russia said Tuesday it captured another village in Ukraine's Sumy region, the latest in a string of settlements it has taken near the border, as Kyiv fears a larger-scale offensive there.

Moscow's defence ministry said troops took the village of Andriivka, some five kilometres (three miles) from the border, on the same day Kyiv said a Russian attack on the city of Sumy further south killed at least three people.
