Rashed Equestrian and Horse Racing Club has announced a new partnership with Grand Seiko, appointing the Japanese luxury watchmaker as the official timekeeper for the 2024-2025 horse racing season.

The agreement was signed by Yusuf Osama Buhijji, CEO of Rashed Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, and Ahmed Shirazi, Managing Director of Bahrain Jewellery Centre.

The partnership coincides with the increasing participation of Japanese racehorses in Bahrain, particularly with the upcoming Bahrain International Trophy on November 15.

Buhijji expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting Grand Seiko’s reputation as a leading luxury watch brand. Shirazi said that the success of the club and the quality of its facilities made Grand Seiko eager to support its events.
